Say Hello to Meisha
Meisha provides Counselling at the West Lakes office and has a diploma of Counselling from the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors (AIPC). She is a member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and participates in ongoing professional development and reflective individual and peer supervision on a regular basis.
Meisha uses different therapeutic approaches depending on the individual’s needs. These include: Person-Centred, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness Therapy.
In addition to her special interest in disability support, her experience includes supporting families with children in palliative care, and people experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, and other mental health conditions.
Meisha has a truly compassionate and caring nature and believes that every person should be honoured for their own unique qualities and journey, and supported in a way that is specific to their individual needs.
